Maya Youssef
Is a virtuoso qanun player and the world’s leading Maqam & Taqsim mentor. She helps dancers connect to the soul of Arabic music without theory so they can unlock real authentic musicality and dance to taqsim with confidence.

Shahrzad is a professional dance instructor and performer specializing in Raqs Sharqi and traditional and social dance styles from Egypt, North Africa, the Khaleej, and the Levant. She has been working with musicians in live performances, classes, and musical production projects for over 20 years and considers musical education an essential part of a dancer's learning process.
